Vintage Glass Jug
Imagine this beautiful vintage glass jug on a stunning dining table filled with water, ice and a slice of lemon. Or how about using it as a glass vase and filling it with a posey of flowers from the garden?
This pitcher probably dates from the 1930s/40s, although there is no makers mark to verify the age.
Made of old glass, the rim of the jug has no chips and there are no cracks in the main body.
The handle has a couple of very tiny marks in the seam itself as expected with its age and use but these are by no means detrimental to its use.
The outer design is a geometrical square design and the corners of these square cuts, in the central panel around the jug, have been brushed back giving a softer feel to the piece.
The dimensions of the jug are ;
Height 16cm
Top 10cm wide by 14cm deep
