Country Table and Chairs

This beautiful country style table was sold before it was even completed to someone who fell in love with the detailing on the table. The table top was stunning, and was stripped back to the original wood and oiled/waxed for protection. The base and back of the chairs were painted in a beautiful egg blue mineral paint and then waxed to give a subtle sheen.

Bedroom Set

Commissioned to refurbish this set of bedroom furniture, the client supplied new handles and chose a classic white paint colour, transforming the pieces to something really modern, stylish and glamorous.
A perfect example of how painting your furniture a different colour can easily transform a room.

Lloyd Loom Ottoman

This Lloyd loom ottoman had definitely seen better days looks wise but structurally was still in great condition. A commissioned piece, the brief was that it needed to be pretty for a teenager’s bedroom working around some fabric already chosen by the owner.
A bespoke paint colour, a plain grey trim and silver upholstery studs gave this vintage piece a modern twist with a nod to its heritage.

Matching pair - vintage dressing table and chest of drawers

When we collected these items, the tops were badly damaged from sunlight, however the veneer on the drawer fronts was clearly a work of art and would have been a shame to paint!
The outside of both the dressing table and chest of drawers were painted in a charcoal grey colour and waxed for added depth. The drawers were stripped back to the original wood, then treated with both finishing oil and a good quality furniture wax to let the veneer shine through. 
Delighted that these sold together and went to the same home.

Nest Of Tables

A customer contacted me to enquire if I had a nest of tables available and this set, believed to be from the 1920s, I had picked up some months earlier in a charity shop. I had been struggling with what colour to paint them and I think the customer hit it just right with this taupe colour! The tables tops were sanded back and re-stained and oiled for protection.
Nearly 100 years since they were first made, this little set of tables were given a new life again.
Love refurbishing these old vintage pieces!

Bedside Cabinet

Love this little bedside table. Finished for a client in a warm mid grey mineral paint, it was brought up to date with a sanded top and a natural wooden handle. The bare wood was oiled to protect the wood but no colour added letting the warmth of the wood shine through.
Simple but stylish.

Dressing Table

An old ducal solid pine dressing table which I "rescued" 24hours before it was due to go to the tip! Totally transformed in a mid navy blue (naturally!) with a stripped, restained and oiled top, and replacement handles. A total transformation! 😊
